I have embarked on my life long journey of self-discovery through yoga. I am committed and dedicated to share my practice and guide others to a deeper and more spiritual realm.

What is Yoga?

Yoga is the connection between mind, body, and soul. It promotes mental and physical strength, balance and harmony.
Yoga is Ujjuyi breath, the victorious breath, which sounds like the ocean. It is louder than the chatter of the mind. Ujjuyi breath is the link between body and mind. It produces heat while cleansing the body of its toxins.
Yoga are Bandha’s, internal locks. By engaging bandha’s, prana (universal life force), is captured, preventing it from escaping the body.
Yoga is drishti, eye gaze. By directing the gaze at specific points, the focus is directed inward, reminding us to trust ourselves to look internally, instead of externally.
Yoga quiets the thinking mind and awakens the feeling body.
Yoga brings awareness through conscious breaths.
Yoga is a sequence of asanas (postures).
Yoga is stillness within movement.
Yoga is meditation.
Yoga reveals our true nature.
Yoga is grace and integrity.
Yoga is growth, love, and compassion.
